Setting a new standard for affordable living in Hamilton while solving the homeless problem one property at a time
Apex Property Management is proud to present our newest initiative with great benefits to the City of Hamilton and its residents that are looking for an affordable housing solution, achieved by collaborating with our placement partner Mission Services and the Housing Up Program.
Currently we have housed over 40 participants in 2020 and look forward to housing significantly more in 2021.
The growth of the program is built on the procurement of easily converted buildings used to house sizable groups in private but communal environment. Tenants of these buildings share common areas such as kitchens, washrooms and laundry facilities but have there own private living space.
ACL is neither a ROOMING House or LODGING HOME
Benefits of ACL to the tenant:
- Private Rooms which are highly maintained, some with individual temperature controls, WIFI, Cable TV, closet space, and LED Lighting
- Our Program Partner provides Case Management Follow up – throughout the housing up program
- All ACL properties are maintained beyond what would be considered minimum standards:
- all properties are fire code compliant;
- common area security cameras and alarm systems;
- exterior and interior common spaces;
- modern kitchens equipped with microwaves, stoves and multiple fridges;
- central air conditioning;
- central heating;
- property managers who are always on call.
- Our ACL Program offers affordable rental solutions. Rents Range from $400 to $850 per month inclusive
ACL Properties are targeted to help recently or habitually homeless men who no longer wish to live within the shelter programs offered in Hamilton!
During the initial onslaught of the COVID-19 crisis – Apex Property Management looked at ways of assisting people throughout the pandemic. The IDEA of ACL was born during this time and looks forward to being of assistance to the Community of Hamilton for years to come.
